Eligibility Criteria Air Force Agniveer Recruitment 2022.


Age Limit: The candidates should not be less than 17 ½  years of age and not more than 23 years

Educational Qualification Indian Air Force Agniveer Recruitment 2022.


Candidates must have passed Intermediate/10+2/equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English from a Board of Education listed as COBSE member with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
Or
3 years Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile / Computer Science / Instrumentation Technology / Information Technology) from a Government recognized Polytechnic Institute with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in Diploma Course (or in Intermediate / Matriculation, if English is not a subject in the Diploma course).
Or
Passed Two Years Professional Course with Non-Vocational Subject. Physics and Mathematics from State Education Boards/Councils listed in COBSE with 50% marks in vocational course and 50% marks in English (or in Intermediate/Matric, if English is not a subject in vocational course)

Other than Science subjects:


Passed Intermediate/10+2/Equivalent Examination in any discipline approved by Central/State Board of Education, with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English listed as COBSE member.
Or
Two years vocational course from Boards of Education listed as COBSE member with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in vocational course OR Passed Intermediate/Matriculation if English is not a subject in vocational course.

STEP 1: ONLINE EXAMINATION:

Eligible candidates will be sent provisional admit cards for Phase-I of the test 48-72 hours before the examination on their registered e-mail ID, which they will download and take a color printout and carry it to the examination centre. The day of online examination as indicated on their respective admit card for appearing in the selection test.

This provisional admit card can also be downloaded by the candidate under login at CASB web portal https://agnipathvayu.cdac.in.

The online test will be of objective type and questions will be bilingual (English and Hindi) except in the English paper.

The online examination for candidates opting for science subjects and subjects other than science subjects will be conducted in one sitting on the same system.

Candidates are required to bring a blue/black pen and original Aadhar card with them for the Phase-I test.

The Details Of The Test Are As Follows:-

  • Science Subject: The total duration of the online examination will be 60 minutes and will consist of English, Physics and Mathematics as per 10+2 CBSE syllabus.
  • Other than Science subjects: The total duration of the online examination will be 45 minutes and will consist of English as per 10+2 CBSE syllabus and Reasoning and General Awareness (RAGA).
  • Science subjects and other science subjects: The total duration of the online examination will be 85 minutes and will consist of English, Physics and Mathematics as per 10+2 CBSE syllabus and Reasoning and General Awareness (RAGA).
  • Marking Pattern for Online Examination:-
(i) One mark for each correct answer.
(ii) Zero (0) marks for an unattempted question.
(iii) 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

Step 2 : Selection

Immediately after the declaration of the result of Phase-I (Online) examination, a cut off will be applied based on the marks obtained by the candidates in Phase-I examination and a fresh admit card will be sent to the shortlisted candidates on their registered e- Mail ID for Phase-II test in a designated ASC.

These admit cards for Phase-II examination can also be downloaded online under the login of the candidate on the CASB web portal https://agnipathvayu.cdac.in.

Candidates are required to report for Phase-II at the designated ASC on the scheduled date and time along with the following documents:-

  • Color print out of Admit Card for Phase-II.
  • Color print out of the duly filled application form downloaded on completion of online registration.
  • HB Pencil, Eraser, Sharpener, Glue Stick, Stapler and Black/Blue Ball Point Pen for writing.
  • Eight copies of unattested passport size color photographs (which were used for online application registration).
  • Original and four self-attested photocopies of Matriculation passing certificate (required for verification of candidate's name, father's name and his/her date of birth).
  • Original and four self-attested photocopies of Matriculation mark sheet (applicable only for holders of three years Diploma course when English is not a subject in the Diploma course).
  • Original and four self-attested photocopies of Intermediate/10+2/equivalent examination passing certificate and mark sheet. either Original and four self attested photocopies of three years diploma course passing certificate and mark sheets of all semesters. either Original and four self attested photocopies of two years Vocational course passing certificate and all mark sheets including Non-Vocational course with English, Physics and Mathematics subjects.
  • Certificate for SOAFP (Son of Air Force Personnel) including certificates of sons of serving/retired/deceased Air Force civilian employees.
  • Original Phase-I Admit Card bearing Air Force seal and Supervisor's signature used during Phase-I test.
  • Original and four self-attested photocopies of NCC 'A', 'B' or 'C' certificates (if applicable).

Agniveer Vayu Physical Fitness Test (PFT).
  • 1.6 km race to be completed in 06 minutes 30 seconds.
  • Candidates will also have to complete 10 push-ups, 10 sit-ups and 20 squats within the stipulated time to qualify in the physical fitness test.

Mandatory medical standards.

  • Height: The minimum acceptable height is 152.5 cm.
  • Chest: Minimum extent of expansion: 5 cms
  • Weight: Proportionate to height and age.

Corneal surgery (PRK/LASIK) is not acceptable. Applicable visual requirements as per Indian Air Force standards.

Hearing: Candidates should have normal hearing i.e. able to hear loud whispers from a distance of 6 meters from each ear separately.

Dentistry: Must have healthy gums, a good set of teeth and at least 14 dental points.
